In the anime Rurouni Kenshin there are alot of themes and morals said by alot of the characters. However the main moral of this show is about life and what it has to offer you. This moral is repeated a lot of times in the show and is an important lesson in life. The other themes and morals of this show are ones such as never give up and always believe in your friends. There are also alot of lessons that are learnt through the show like everyone fights for what they believe in and the winner is not always the one that is right. The moral in the movie is about the Meiji government for which Kenshin fought for. This government is compared to the previous clan that Kenshin had worked for and says that it is little better than the shoguns they deposed of is a theme throughout Rurouni Kenshin, but in this movie, both sides are compared to tyranny, and no easy answers are given except that tyranny is worse than any other form of government.
